Job description

A Telesales Executive sells products or services over the phone by making outbound calls, managing inbound inquiries, and persuading potential customers to make a purchase. Key responsibilities include generating leads, understanding customer needs, providing product information, handling objections, and meeting sales targets. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.


Core responsibilities

  1. Sales and lead generation:
  2. Make outbound calls to potential customers (cold calling) to generate interest and leads for the sales team.

  4. Answer inbound calls, promote products and services, and engage with both potential and existing customers to understand their needs.

  5. Product knowledge:

  9. Customer relationship management:
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, and handle inquiries or complaints professionally.

  14. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and sometimes provide reports on sales performance.

Required skills and qualifications

  1. Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

  2. Persuasion: Strong sales and negotiation skills, including the ability to persuade customers.

  3. Customer service: A customer-oriented attitude with the ability to handle different personalities and provide excellent service.
