PACKING HELPER

Job description

A packer is responsible for preparing products for shipment by organizing, packing, and labeling them securely. Key duties include interpreting orders, conducting quality checks, using packing materials and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and keeping accurate records of shipments.

Core responsibilities

1. Order fulfillment:
2. Picking and arranging products according to order specifications and stacking them securely in containers.

5. Using proper packaging materials, sealing boxes, and applying accurate labels with correct shipping information.

7. Quality control:
8. Inspecting products for defects and ensuring all packages are sealed and ready for shipment.

10. Record keeping:
11. Accurately logging shipment details, orders, and inventory using a variety of methods, which may include scanners.

13. Equipment operation:
14. Using machinery like pallet wrappers, pallet jacks, or forklifts to move and prepare shipments.

16. Workplace maintenance:
