Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant with strong expertise across Fusion Cloud technical components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in integrations, extensions, customizations, data migration, reports, and collaboration with functional teams across Oracle Cloud modules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and support technical components in Oracle Fusion Cloud, including:
2. HCM / Finance / SCM technical objects (as applicable)
3. Integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, OIC, FBDI, BI Publisher
4. Reports: OTBI, BIP, HCM Extracts (if HCM)
5. Data Conversions: HDL, HCM/ERP extract files, FBDI templates
6. Build Interfaces, Extensions, Conversions, Workflows, and Custom Applications.
7. Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements.
8. Troubleshoot technical issues, evaluate root causes, and provide solutions.
9. Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments including defect resolution.
10. Ensure all development follows Oracle standards, migration guidelines, and security policies.
11. Prepare technical design documents (MD50), mapping sheets, and test scripts.

Required Skills

1. 5–8 years of IT experience with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud development.
2. Hands-on experience in:
3. Integrations (REST, SOAP, OIC)
4. FBDI / HDL / HCM Extracts / BI Publisher
5. OTBI & SQL
6. AMX workflows / Approvals
7. Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud architecture, tables, and data flows.
8. Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and issue-resolution skills.
9. Experience in at least one or more Fusion modules:
10. HCM
11. Financials
12. SCM
13. Procurement
14. Experience in end-to-end implementations (minimum 1–2 preferred).

Good to Have

1. Oracle Cloud Certification (Technical / Integration / Module-specific).
2. Exposure to VBCS, PCS, Page Composer, and role-based security.
3. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

1. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
