Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrician to lead electrical operations at our perfume manufacturing facility. This role demands hands-on expertise in industrial automation, preventive maintenance, and team leadership to ensure smooth functioning of all electrical systems across production and utility areas. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee electrical maintenance for machinery involved in mixing, blending, filling, labeling, and packaging. • Manage utilities including compressors, HVAC systems, boilers, and DG sets. • Diagnose and resolve electrical breakdowns swiftly to reduce production downtime. • Ensure optimal performance of PLC-controlled equipment, automation panels, and safety interlocks. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. • Monitor electrical load distribution and promote energy-efficient practices. • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations. • Mentor and supervise junior electricians, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. • Collaborate with production and quality teams during equipment installations and upgrades. • Maintain detailed records of breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance activities. • Assist in planning and executing plant expansion and equipment upgrades. Qualifications & Experience: • ITI / Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering. • 5–8 years of hands-on industrial experience, preferably in FMCG, chemical, perfume, or cosmetics sectors. • Proficient in industrial automation systems, control panels, PLCs, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution networks. • Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot independently. • Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of electricians. • In-depth understanding of safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures. • Willingness to work during emergency breakdowns and plant shutdowns.
