Clothes Sales Executive
A Clothes Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales, assisting customers, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring an excellent buying experience in a retail clothing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Interaction
- Greet customers and understand their clothing requirements (size, style, budget, occasion).
- Provide product recommendations and styling guidance.
- Support customers during trial-room sessions and provide honest feedback.
- Resolve queries related to fits, fabrics, and combinations.
2. Sales Achievement
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
- Upsell higher-value products and cross-sell matching items (e.g., shirts, trousers, accessories).
- Promote ongoing offers, discounts, and new arrivals.
3. Product Knowledge
- Maintain updated knowledge of fabrics, fittings, sizing charts, patterns, and seasonal trends.
- Explain care instructions and product features clearly.
4. Visual Merchandising
- Arrange clothes in the store according to category, color, and size.
- Ensure mannequins are dressed attractively and according to promotions.
- Maintain neat and clean display racks.
5. Billing & Documentation
- Assist with billing and payment processing.
- Handle exchange and return procedures according to company policy.
6. Inventory Management
- Conduct daily stock checks.
- Tag products and manage new stock.
- Report slow-moving and fast-moving items to management.
7. Customer Service
- Provide a welcoming and respectful experience.
- Handle complaints professionally.
- Encourage repeat visits and build customer relationships.
