Job description

Role Summary

Mashrise is hiring an HR Manager – Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR policies, performance support, and culture building. This is a hands-on role requiring strong people skills, operational rigor, and the ability to work closely with leadership in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  1. Manage end-to-end recruitment for business, sales, creative, and operations roles
  2. Coordinate interviews, maintain hiring trackers, and ensure a positive candidate experience
  3. Drive onboarding activities including documentation, inductions, HR policy orientation, and 30/60/90-day check-ins

HR Operations & Compliance

  1. Own the complete employee lifecycle: joining, confirmations, exits, and full & final settlement coordination
  2. Maintain HR records, employee files, and HRMIS / internal trackers
  3. Coordinate payroll inputs such as attendance, leave data, and monthly validations with finance or payroll vendors
  4. Ensure adherence to company policies and support basic statutory compliance requirements

Performance, Engagement & Culture

  1. Support performance management cycles including goal setting, reviews, and feedback processes
  2. Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team activities, and culture-building programs
  3. Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievance handling, and conflict resolution

Policies & Process Improvement

  1. Draft, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, templates, and documentation
  2. Track HR metrics such as hiring TAT, attrition, engagement scores, and share insights with leadership


Requirements

  1. 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience (startup or agency experience preferred)
  2. Strong hands-on experience in recruitment and HR operations
  3. Good understanding of HR documentation and employee lifecycle processes
  4. Strong communication skills with high standards of confidentiality
  5. Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets and HR trackers
