Job Summary

Loyal Equipments Ltd. is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to manage and improve manufacturing operations for pressure vessels and heat exchangers. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production planning, quality compliance, and on-time delivery while maintaining safety and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities for pressure vessels and heat exchangers
2. Monitor production schedules and ensure adherence to delivery timelines
3. Coordinate with design, quality, and procurement teams for smooth workflow
4. Ensure compliance with ASME, PED, and relevant fabrication standards
5. Supervise shop-floor activities including fabrication, welding, and assembly
6. Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce wastage
7. Ensure implementation of safety standards and best manufacturing practices
8. Handle manpower planning and productivity improvement
9. Review drawings, BOMs, and work instructions before production
10. Maintain production records, reports, and documentation

Required Skills & Competencies

1. Strong knowledge of pressure vessel & heat exchanger manufacturing
2. Experience in fabrication, welding processes, and inspection procedures
3. Understanding of ASME codes, material standards, and QA/QC processes
4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
5. Knowledge of production planning and control (PPC)
6. Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
7. Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP systems

Qualifications

1. BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
2. 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry
3. Hands-on experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers is mandatory

Preferred Candidate Profile

1. Experience working in heavy engineering or process equipment manufacturing
2. Exposure to shop-floor management and vendor coordination
3. Strong communication and leadership skills
