Estimation Engineer

Job description

Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate the costs for projects involving heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and associated mechanical systems, including material costs, labor, and overheads.  Tender Analysis: Review tender documents, technical specifications, and client requirements to prepare precise estimates and project proposals.  Quotations & Proposals: Develop comprehensive quotations and proposals based on customer specifications, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with project requirements.  Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to gather pricing information for materials, components, and services required for projects.  Technical Support: Provide technical support during the estimation process, ensuring that all design and engineering aspects are accounted for in the cost estimates.  Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project-related documentation, ensuring transparency and proper tracking.  Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure that estimates align with the design and delivery schedules.
