Role Overview

We are looking for a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operations of BLive’s EV two-wheeler fleet in Pune. The role will focus on ensuring fleet availability, performance, and service excellence, while managing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

You will lead a team of field engineers, riders, and operations staff, ensuring timely deliveries, fleet uptime, and smooth day-to-day operations, while working closely with cross-functional teams to scale the EV mobility business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fleet Operations & Management

 Manage day-to-day operations of the EV two-wheeler fleet in Pune.

 Ensure maximum fleet availability, uptime, and operational efficiency.

 Monitor fleet performance, including vehicle health, battery management, and utilization rates.

 Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and operational SOPs.

2. Team Leadership

 Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field engineers, riders, and operations staff.

 Allocate resources effectively to meet operational KPIs and SLA targets.

 Conduct regular training and skill development programs for the operations team.

3. Process Optimization & Cost Control

 Identify gaps and inefficiencies in fleet operations and implement process improvements.

 Manage operational expenses and optimize fleet costs without compromising service quality.

 Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

4. Customer & Stakeholder Management

 Collaborate with customer support, sales, and business development teams to ensure seamless fleet service.

 Handle escalations and implement corrective measures for operational issues.

 Work closely with vendors, charging partners, and service providers for smooth operations.

5. Reporting & Analytics

 Track key operational metrics, fleet utilization, downtime, and performance trends.

 Provide regular reports and insights to leadership for decision-making and fleet expansion planning.

Requirements

 5–8 years of experience in fleet operations, preferably in EV, logistics, or mobility sectors.

 Strong understanding of EV two-wheeler operations, charging, and maintenance.

 Proven experience managing field teams and large-scale operations.

 Ability to analyze data, optimize processes, and implement cost-effective solutions.

 Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 Familiarity with fleet management tools and technology platforms is a
