ORGANIZATIONAL CHART Designation: Analytical Chemist SBU/Business division: Research and Development Reporting to: VP – R&D Location: Mumbai Job Description Job Purpose Able to develop and perform various analytical activities and solution for basic technical problems. This would include studying the physical or chemical properties of drug substances and formulations, with a view to determining the quality and stability of drug products: Drug substances and formulations - fine chemicals and its intermediates Drug products - fine chemicals and its intermediates Primary Duties & Responsibilities • To develop and conduct analysis such as GC, HPLC, Wet Chemistry, GC-MS, Viscosity, Density, melting point, moisture content analysis etc. • Sound analytical knowledge for method development and method validation and method transfer from R&D to production. • To maintain Analytical Lab note books, procedures, documents and records. • To work safely and maintain housekeeping of the lab. • Implement SOP for the storage of analytical standards and reference samples under required conditions and maintain a database. • Adhering to timelines and deadlines for experiment results • Theoretical knowledge of analytical techniques.
