Performance Engineer/QA

Job description

Position: Performance Tester

ExP: 3+

Location: Bangalore

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, automate, execute performance tests for Cloud products (micro-services and legacy), in private cloud and public clouds (AWS, GCP, and Azure) using inhouse built frameworks and tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, etc,

• Assist the team with recurring performance tests and on demand performance tests including setting up environments thru results collection.

• Willingness and ability to work on multiple performance tests related tasks in parallel and apply best practices

• Assist the team in applying industry best practices for Performance Engineering/QA processes.

• Production Performance Monitoring and Root Cause Analysis - Utilise tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Cloud Health.

Necessary Qualifications/ Skills:

• B.S./M.S. Computer Science degree or similar

• 3+ years working experience in Performance Engineering/QA against Java/UNIX based core stack and micro services applications in BTP and Cobalt.

• Good technical understanding of lab environments & architecture and ability to troubleshoot basic issues

• Command over performance analysis and tools like JMeter, Load Runner, Dynatrace, Your kit, etc.

• Experience with public cloud infrastructure like GCP and experience working in private cloud.

• Strong scripting (including Java script, typescript, etc) background to automate performance qualifications

• Ability to research, learn an adopt best practices, automation frameworks and tools for better productivity

• Good communication skills and an excellent team player.
