Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Management:
  2. Process and manage employee payroll on a monthly basis, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  3. Maintain payroll records, including deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
  4. Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory regulations (e.g., PF, ESI, taxes).
  5. Address employee payroll queries and provide support as needed.
  6. Generate and review payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
  7. Attendance Management:
  8. Monitor and manage employee attendance, including tracking leaves, holidays, and absenteeism.
  9. Maintain attendance records and generate reports as required.
  10. Ensure compliance with company attendance policies and address discrepancies.
  11. Recruitment & Onboarding:
  12. Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews.
  13. Coordinate and schedule interviews with relevant departments.
  14. Conduct reference checks and background verification for potential hires.
  15. Assist in preparing offer letters and managing the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and training.
  16. Employee Relations:
  17. Act as the point of contact for employees' HR-related concerns and queries.
  18. Assist in managing employee grievances and resolving conflicts, ensuring a positive workplace culture.
  19. Organize employee engagement activities to boost morale and foster teamwork.
  20. Compliance & Documentation:
  21. Ensure all HR processes comply with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  22. Maintain accurate employee records and confidential information.
  23. Assist with audits and maintain up-to-date HR documentation.
  24. General HR Activities:
  25. Support the HR team with performance appraisal processes and employee feedback systems.
  26. Coordinate training programs, workshops, and other development activities.
  27. Ensure the company’s HR policies are communicated and adhered to.
  28. Assist in preparing HR reports for senior management and other stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in HR administration, payroll, and recruitment.
  3. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office, HR software, and payroll systems.
