we is looking for a Head of Quality in the apparel industry who is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of quality controland assurance acrossthe supply chain, from raw materials to final product delivery. This role ensures that garments meet the highest quality standards, customerexpectations, and complywith industry regulations. The Head of Quality will lead quality initiatives across production sites, monitor supplier quality, and drive continuous improvement in processes to enhance product durability, fit, and finish.

How You Will Add Value (Core responsibilities)

1. Define and drive the end-to-end quality strategy for apparel production aligned with business and customer expectations.
2. Lead, train,and manage QA teams across factories and supplier locations, ensuring uniform quality standards.
3. Establish, monitor,and enforce garmentquality KPIs, benchmarks, and SOPs across the supply chain.
4. Partner with sourcing and procurement to ensure fabric, trims, and raw material quality, including supplier audits and approvals.
5. Implement robust incoming, in-line,and end-of-line inspection processes to prevent defects.
6. Ensure strict compliance with product safety,chemical, and textileregulations (REACH, CPSIA, OEKO-TEX, etc.).
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects,rework, and customer returns.
8. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, and CAPA methodologies to strengthen process efficiency and quality consistency.
9. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, merchandising, production, and logistics to embed quality at every stage.
10. Manage internaland external auditsand maintain certifications such as GOTS, Fair Trade, and other compliance standards.
11. Analyze customer feedback, complaints, and return data to eliminate recurring quality issues.
12. Track and report quality performance metrics and trends to senior management for data-driven decision-making.

What You Bring to The Team (Experience & Education)

1. Bachelor’s / Master’s degree from NIFT or in Fashion Technology, Quality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2. AdditionalCertification like FIRE,6 Sigma can be an added benefit
3. Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in quality management within the Garment Industry for inner wear and outerwear.
4. Proven experience in managing quality assurance teams across multiple locations or suppliers.
5. Deep understanding of apparel manufacturing processes, including cutting, sewing, and finishing.
6. Familiarity with apparel industry standards and certifications (e.g., OEKO-TEX - Globally recognized independent certification system, ISO 9001, REACH - Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals).
7. Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric testing, and material performance.
8. Experience in handling customer complaints, defect reduction, and supplier management.
9. This role requirestravelling, especially to manufacturing locations.
