Façade Structural Engineer

ALUFIX DESIGN INDIA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Façade Structural Engineer to join our Navi Mumbai design office and support the delivery of prestigious UK façade projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of façade engineering principles, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams across international time zones.

As a Façade Structural Engineer at ALUFIX DESIGN INDIA, you will be responsible for performing detailed engineering computations and structural façade analysis, providing technical assessments and advice on façade systems, fire compliance, and remedial solutions. You will also prepare, review, and sign-off façade calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and documentation at all project stages.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in façade engineering, a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or similar, and proficiency in relevant façade & structural finite element software.

You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver technically robust solutions and ensure full compliance with UK Building Regulations, fire safety standards (e.g., BS 8414/BR 135), CWCT guidance, and company health & safety procedures at all times.

Identify defects, risks, and areas of non-compliance relating to façade performance and safety, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with international project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in façade engineering.

Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures related to façade engineering.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
