Key Responsibilities:
IT Support & Helpdesk:
Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware,
software, network, and system-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops,
printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
Respond to IT support requests via ticketing system, email, or phone
and ensure timely resolution.
Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support or vendors
when required.
System & Network Support:
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software
applications, and security updates.
Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), internet connectivity,
and Wi-Fi systems.
Assist in basic server maintenance, backups, and data recovery processes.
Ensure proper antivirus protection and system security measures are implemented.
User Account & Access Management:
Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts, email IDs, and system
access as per company policies.
Manage access rights to internal systems, applications, and shared resources.
IT Asset Management:
Maintain records of IT assets including hardware, software licenses,
and warranties.
Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repair, and replacement of IT
equipment.
Ensure proper documentation of asset allocation and returns.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure IT processes comply with company policies and data security standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and
troubleshooting guides.
Assist during IT audits and ensure compliance with information
security requirements.
General IT Activities:
Support onboarding and offboarding activities by setting up and
revoking IT access.
Assist in implementing new IT tools, systems, or upgrades.
Provide basic training and guidance to employees on IT systems and
best practices.
