Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment:

Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or requisitions.

Inventory Management:

Maintaining accurate inventory records by tracking items picked and potentially assisting with cycle counts.

Packing and Preparation:

Packing items securely into boxes or containers, potentially using tools like handheld scanners or forklifts.

Loading and Unloading:

Loading and unloading trucks or other transport vehicles with items for shipping.

Safety and Quality:

Adhering to safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring product quality before shipping.

Equipment Operation:

Operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks to move items within the warehouse.

Documentation:

Labeling packages, preparing shipping documents, and reporting any discrepancies or damages.

Essential Skills:

1. Physical Stamina: The job requires prolonged standing, walking, and lifting of items.

1. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management is critical.

1. Basic Math Skills: Counting items, verifying quantities, and potentially using basic math for inventory management.

1. Teamwork: Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient order fulfillment.

1. Time Management: Meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

1. Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment (if required).
