Job Summary

Wakefit is looking for a skilled Furniture Carpenter to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and finishing wooden furniture while ensuring high quality standards and timely production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cut, shape, and assemble wooden components according to drawings and specifications
2. Manufacture furniture such as beds, sofas, tables, cabinets, and storage units
3. Operate carpentry tools and machinery safely and efficiently
4. Perform polishing, finishing, and surface treatments when required
5. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
6. Repair or modify furniture as needed
7. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the workstation
8. Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in furniture carpentry
2. Knowledge of wood types, laminates, plywood, and fittings
3. Ability to read basic drawings or measurements
4. Skilled in using hand tools and woodworking machines
5. Attention to detail and quality workmanship
6. Physically fit and able to work on the shop floor
