The Student Coach role sits at the heart of this ecosystem. As the primary mentor for a portfolio of students, you will guide them from the moment they express interest until they are settled in their chosen university. This involves understanding each student’s academic background, career aspirations, and personal preferences, then translating that insight into a tailored roadmap that covers course selection, test preparation, application drafting, financial planning, and visa processing.

Key responsibilities include conducting thorough research to identify the best‑fit programs, advising on eligibility and standardized test requirements such as GRE, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL, and ensuring all application components meet university standards. You will maintain continuous communication with students, providing timely updates, answering queries, and offering moral support throughout the often‑stressful admissions cycle.

Collaboration is essential. You will work hand‑in‑hand with the Growth team to attract new prospects, with Student Counsellors and Key Account Managers to align on counseling strategies, and with Loan Advisors and Test‑Prep specialists to address financial and academic preparation needs. When offers are received, you will manage the post‑offer process, coordinating deposit collection, visa documentation, and hand‑over to the International Office.

Performance is measured by both quantitative and qualitative metrics. You will be expected to meet intake targets, maintain high conversion rates, and achieve strong student satisfaction scores. Regular reporting through the CRM system will help you track progress, identify bottlenecks, and work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of sales expertise and genuine empathy. A graduate or MBA degree in Business, Management, or Psychology provides a solid foundation, while 2–5 years of experience—preferably in ed‑tech or a related advisory field—demonstrates the ability to manage complex student journeys. Strong research skills, persuasive communication, and the capacity to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines are essential.
