Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, reviewing and deploying complex solutions. The role involves working under a Team Leader, analyzing challenging requirements, flying to client offices in Asia Pacific, attending meetings and interacting with end users, preparing specifications, undertaking development of complex application functions in PL/SQL. The candidate will also participate in code review and testing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL, with experience in packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, cursors, PL/SQL table, nested tables, arrays, sequences, indexes, synonyms, file handling, DBMS Scheduler, Oracle Text, subqueries, inline views and materialized view. The candidate should also have good analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as good communication skills.

The role involves working collaboratively with others to apply technologies in creative, practical and efficient ways. The candidate should be able to work well in both a team and individual environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of database design, modeling and normalization, as well as data flow diagrams, data dictionary techniques and entity relation modeling. The candidate should also have experience in data migration from legacy systems to new systems.
