CHINT Solar, the solar arm of the CHINT Group—one of the world’s top five solar manufacturers—offers a dynamic environment where cutting‑edge technology meets large‑scale project delivery. With a portfolio that spans polysilicon production, wafer manufacturing, cell and module assembly, and a track record of completing more than 15 GW of ground‑mounted EPC projects and 25 GW of distributed solar installations, the company is a leader in the renewable energy sector.
We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Bangalore office and take ownership of the end‑to‑end bid and contract lifecycle for solar projects across India and international markets. This senior role reports to the Head of Business Development and works closely with cross‑functional teams including engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and construction.
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for shaping the competitive edge of our proposals. This includes crafting bid strategies that align with market dynamics, preparing detailed tender packages, and ensuring that all technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects are addressed. The role demands a proactive approach to risk management, where potential pitfalls are identified early and mitigation plans are integrated into the bid.
Key duties include:
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the solar industry’s regulatory landscape, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi‑million‑dollar contracts, leading bid teams, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
In addition to technical expertise, the Contracts Manager must demonstrate leadership qualities—coaching junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving continuous improvement in contract processes.
CHINT Solar offers a competitive compensation package, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work on high‑impact projects that contribute to global clean‑energy goals.
