CHINT India Energy Solution Private Limited, part of the world‑renowned CHINT Group, is a key player in the solar and electrical equipment sector. With a presence in over 140 countries and a portfolio that spans low‑voltage switchgear, transformers, smart meters, and integrated solar solutions, the company is at the forefront of renewable energy innovation. The Bangalore office supports a wide range of activities, from large‑scale ground‑mounted solar EPC projects to distributed solar installations and comprehensive O&M services. As the organization continues to expand its manufacturing footprint and project portfolio, robust financial processes are essential to sustain growth and maintain stakeholder confidence.
The Accounts Executive will be a central figure in the finance team, responsible for the end‑to‑end management of vendor payments. This role ensures that all financial transactions related to procurement are executed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations. By maintaining clean and reconciled accounts payable records, the incumbent directly contributes to the company’s cash‑flow stability and operational efficiency.
Key duties include receiving and validating vendor invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes, preparing payment batches using various modes such as cheques, NEFT, RTGS, or online transfers, and updating the accounts payable ledger. The role also involves regular reconciliation of vendor statements, prompt resolution of any discrepancies, and proactive communication with suppliers to address payment queries. Coordination with internal departments—particularly Procurement, Stores, and Project Management—is critical to secure necessary approvals and ensure that all expenses are properly documented.
In addition to routine transaction processing, the Accounts Executive will support month‑end closing activities by preparing detailed accounts payable reports, analyzing outstanding liabilities, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The position requires a thorough understanding of tax compliance, including the calculation and deduction of TDS, as well as the accurate application of GST on relevant transactions. Maintaining audit‑ready documentation and facilitating internal and external audits are also integral responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or finance, coupled with six to ten years of hands‑on experience in accounts payable or a similar finance function. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks, along with advanced Excel skills, is essential for efficient data handling and reporting. Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills are required to manage vendor relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
Working at CHINT offers exposure to a dynamic, technology‑driven environment where finance professionals play a strategic role in supporting large‑scale renewable energy initiatives. The company values continuous learning, encourages process improvement, and provides opportunities for career advancement within its global network.
This role is based in Bangalore and reports to the Finance Manager. Candidates who thrive in fast‑paced, compliance‑focused environments and are eager to contribute to the growth of a leading solar solutions provider are encouraged to apply.
