Loyal Equipment Limited, a prominent name in the Indian industrial equipment sector, is expanding its engineering team at its Dahegam manufacturing complex. The company designs, manufactures, and services a wide range of heavy‑duty equipment for sectors such as construction, mining, and infrastructure. To sustain its growth and uphold the high standards of product finish, Loyal Equipment is looking for a seasoned Engineer or Senior Engineer specialized in painting and coating processes.

The role is pivotal in translating project specifications into flawless surface finishes that protect equipment from corrosion, wear, and environmental exposure. The incumbent will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of painting activities, from the initial selection of paint systems to the final inspection and handover. This includes developing detailed work plans, allocating resources, and ensuring that every step complies with internationally recognised standards such as ISO, NACE, SSPC, and ASTM.

Key duties involve close collaboration with cross‑functional teams. The engineer will work alongside design engineers to interpret drawings and specifications, coordinate with procurement to secure the right materials, and supervise painting crews and subcontractors on the shop floor. Regular interaction with quality inspectors and third‑party auditors ensures that the coating thickness, adhesion, and visual appearance meet the stringent quality criteria set by both the client and internal standards.

Safety and environmental stewardship are integral to the position. The engineer must enforce HSE policies, conduct risk assessments for blasting and spraying operations, and ensure that waste disposal follows local regulations. By fostering a culture of safety, the engineer helps minimize incidents and maintains the company’s reputation for responsible manufacturing.

In addition to technical oversight, the role demands strong analytical capabilities. The engineer will monitor material consumption, identify sources of wastage, and implement cost‑saving measures without compromising quality. Detailed documentation—method statements, inspection reports, and corrective action logs—must be maintained accurately to support continuous improvement initiatives and audit readiness.

Ideal candidates will bring 5 to 10 years of hands‑on experience in industrial painting, a solid educational background in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, and preferably a certification in Industrial Painting or Coating Technology. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, understanding of QA/QC processes, and familiarity with relevant standards are essential. Excellent coordination, problem‑solving, and communication skills will enable the engineer to lead diverse teams and resolve issues swiftly.
