Job description

Fittr, a leading digital health and fitness platform, is expanding its sales team to accelerate the adoption of its subscription‑based programs across India. As a Business Development Executive based in Kharadi, Pune, you will be at the forefront of this growth, responsible for turning interested prospects into loyal members who benefit from personalized nutrition plans, workout regimens, and ongoing coaching.

The role is heavily focused on outbound and inbound sales activities conducted primarily over the phone and through virtual channels. You will receive a steady flow of leads generated by marketing initiatives, but you will also be expected to proactively source additional opportunities via cold calling, networking, and social media outreach. Each interaction should begin with a discovery conversation that uncovers the prospect's fitness objectives, challenges, and timeline.

Once you understand the prospect's needs, you will deliver a compelling product demonstration that highlights how Fittr's subscription services address those specific goals. This includes walking the prospect through the platform's features, explaining the science‑backed methodology, and illustrating real‑world results from existing members. Your ability to translate technical details into relatable benefits will be critical to moving the conversation toward a closed deal.

Successful candidates will manage their own sales pipeline, ensuring that every lead is tracked, nurtured, and progressed in a timely manner. You will regularly update the CRM with call notes, follow‑up tasks, and forecasted revenue, providing visibility to the broader organization. Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets is a core expectation, and performance will be measured against clear, data‑driven KPIs.

Beyond the initial sale, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding new members. This involves guiding them through the sign‑up process, setting up their first coaching session, and confirming that they have access to all relevant resources. Maintaining an ongoing relationship with customers helps drive higher retention rates, encourages upsells, and generates referrals that feed back into the lead pipeline.

Collaboration is a daily part of the job. You will work closely with the marketing team to share insights on lead quality and campaign effectiveness, with product managers to stay informed about new feature releases, and with the customer success team to ensure a seamless handoff after the sale. Your feedback will directly influence product enhancements and marketing messaging, making you an integral voice in Fittr's growth strategy.
