We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our investment banking team at Leela Fincare Pvt Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and approaching potential client companies, introducing our investment banking and advisory services, and scheduling qualified meetings with senior management.

The Business Development Officer will work closely with the investment banking team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and provide exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the investment banking industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for conducting direct outreach to target companies, identifying and mapping key decision-makers, and presenting a preliminary overview of the firm's investment banking offerings.

The Business Development Officer will also be responsible for generating qualified leads and scheduling introductory calls/meetings for senior bankers, maintaining detailed records of outreach, follow-ups, and meeting outcomes in CRM or internal trackers, and coordinating internally to ensure proper handover of client background and discussion points to the deal team.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of business development, sales, and corporate outreach, and will be able to demonstrate their ability to understand and communicate financial and advisory services at a high level. They will also have a structured approach to lead generation and follow-ups, and will be able to maintain professional etiquette, discretion, and client-facing maturity.
