Job description

CHINT India Energy Solution Private Limited, a subsidiary of the globally recognised CHINT Group, is expanding its finance function in Bangalore. As an Accounts Executive, you will become an integral part of a high‑performing team that supports the company’s ambitious growth in solar and electrical solutions. The CHINT Group ranks among the top five solar manufacturers worldwide and operates across more than 140 countries, delivering a broad portfolio that includes low‑voltage switchgear, transformers, smart meters, and complete solar EPC projects. This dynamic environment demands precision, compliance, and proactive collaboration.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end processing of vendor invoices and expense claims. Your day will begin with receiving invoices, verifying their accuracy, and ensuring they are correctly matched with purchase orders and delivery notes. You will then schedule payments using a variety of methods such as cheques, NEFT, RTGS, or online transfers, always adhering to the company’s payment cycles and cash‑flow requirements.

Maintaining the accounts payable ledger is a core function. You will reconcile vendor statements, resolve any discrepancies, and keep the ledger up‑to‑date. Timely and accurate reconciliation helps prevent duplicate payments and ensures that the financial statements reflect true liabilities.

Vendor relationships are critical to CHINT’s supply chain efficiency. You will act as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding payment status, invoice queries, and dispute resolution. Strong communication and negotiation skills will enable you to address concerns promptly, preserving goodwill and ensuring uninterrupted supply.

Compliance with Indian statutory requirements is non‑negotiable. You will apply your knowledge of TDS, GST, and other tax regulations to each transaction, ensuring that appropriate deductions and filings are made. This includes preparing TDS certificates, filing GST returns related to purchases, and maintaining supporting documentation for audit trails.

Collaboration with internal departments such as Procurement, Stores, and Project Management is essential. You will coordinate invoice approvals, verify receipt of goods, and confirm that purchase orders are correctly reflected in the financial system. This cross‑functional interaction helps streamline the procure‑to‑pay cycle and reduces processing delays.

During month‑end, you will assist the finance manager in closing the books. This involves preparing detailed accounts payable reports, reconciling outstanding items, and providing insights into cash requirements. Your contributions will directly influence the accuracy of the financial statements and the company’s ability to make informed strategic decisions.

Audit support is another key responsibility. You will compile necessary documents, respond to auditor queries, and ensure that all records meet internal and external audit standards. Your meticulous record‑keeping will facilitate smooth audit processes and reinforce the company’s reputation for financial integrity.

The ideal candidate brings 6 to 10 years of hands‑on experience in accounts payable within a manufacturing or large‑scale project environment. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks, coupled with advanced Excel skills, is required to manage large volumes of transactions efficiently. A bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or finance provides the academic foundation for this role.

Beyond technical expertise, you must demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders. A solid understanding of Indian tax laws, especially TDS and GST, will ensure compliance and minimize regulatory risk.

Joining CHINT offers exposure to a global leader in solar and electrical solutions, a collaborative work culture, and opportunities for professional growth. If you are a diligent finance professional eager to contribute to a forward‑looking organization, we encourage you to apply and become part of our success story.
