P4b operates a network of modern warehouses that support fast‑moving consumer goods, e‑commerce, and industrial supply chains. As a Picker & Packer, you become an integral part of the order fulfillment engine, ensuring that every product leaves the facility in perfect condition and on schedule. Your day begins with a briefing on the shift’s targets, followed by logging into the warehouse management system (WMS) to receive your pick list. You will navigate aisles, locate items using barcode scanners, and verify each SKU against the order details. Accuracy is paramount; a single misplaced item can delay delivery and affect customer satisfaction.

Once items are gathered, you transition to the packing station where you assess the best packaging solution for each product. This involves selecting appropriate cushioning, arranging items to minimize movement, and sealing cartons securely. Proper labeling is critical—each package must display the correct shipping address, barcodes, and handling instructions. Throughout the process, you will adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) that govern safety, ergonomics, and quality control.

The role operates on a rotational shift pattern, typically covering early morning, afternoon, and night slots. Flexibility is essential, as the warehouse runs 24/7 to meet client demand. Regardless of the shift, you are expected to meet daily productivity metrics, such as picks per hour and packing accuracy rates. Supervisors monitor performance through the WMS, providing real‑time feedback and coaching where needed.

Safety is a core value at P4b. You will receive comprehensive training on manual handling techniques, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures. Any incidents, near‑misses, or equipment malfunctions must be reported immediately to maintain a safe working environment. Cleanliness and organization are also emphasized; a tidy work area reduces the risk of accidents and improves efficiency.

Collaboration is another key aspect of the role. You will work closely with fellow pickers, packers, forklift operators, and shift leads. Effective communication ensures smooth handoffs, especially during peak periods when order volumes surge. When required, you may assist with loading trucks, unloading inbound shipments, or conducting cycle counts to reconcile inventory levels.
