Junior Executive – Advertising Sale
Job Summary
The Junior Executive – Ad Sales will support the sales team in generating advertising revenue by identifying potential clients, maintaining relationships with existing advertisers, and assisting in the execution of sales campaigns. The role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in media, advertising, or corporate sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in selling advertising space across print, digital, or broadcast platforms
- Identify and approach potential advertisers and agencies
- Maintain and update client databases and sales records
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, creative, operations) for ad execution
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and rate cards
- Follow up with clients regarding inquiries, bookings, and payments
- Support senior sales executives in meetings and negotiations
- Track market trends and competitor activities
- Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, advertising, or marketing (freshers may apply)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of advertising and media sales
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in media, digital marketing, or ad sales
- Ability to negotiate and persuade clients
- Knowledge of CRM tools is an advantag
