Production Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee and manage manufacturing operations related to pressure vessels, reactors, and heat exchangers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in heavy fabrication and equipment manufacturing, ensuring quality, productivity, and adherence to safety and engineering standards.

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities, interpreting and implementing engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. You will also be responsible for optimizing production processes, managing manpower allocation, and ensuring adherence to safety policies and statutory regulations.

You will work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure that all products meet the required standards and are properly documented. Additionally, you will coordinate with the design, procurement, and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth workflow.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in manufacturing. They will be able to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs, and have knowledge of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and inspection procedures.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines. They will also be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
