Production Executive

Job description

We are seeking a Production Executive to oversee day-to-day production activities in the Chocolate Department at our Satara facility. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production operations, maintain quality standards, optimize resources, and adhere to food safety and compliance norms.

This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in shifts and under production pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production targets, maintaining product quality, and ensuring compliance with safety norms and company policies.

The Production Executive will oversee daily production activities, including monitoring processes to maintain product quality, consistency, and hygiene standards. They will also coordinate with quality, maintenance, and stores teams for smooth operations and implement and follow GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with 2–5 years of experience in food/chocolate/confectionery manufacturing. They will have a strong understanding of production processes and quality control, good people management and coordination skills, problem-solving and analytical abilities, and basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, production reports).

The Production Executive will work closely with the production team to minimize wastage, downtime, and improve production efficiency. They will also maintain production reports, logs, and documentation, and ensure compliance with safety norms and company policies.
