Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Backend Sales Coordinator to provide support to our sales team and distributors in the FMCG sector. The role involves order processing, sales data management, customer communication, and coordination between internal departments to ensure timely deliveries and smooth business operations.

As a Backend Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling order processing from distributors, retailers, and sales teams, coordinating with the warehouse, logistics, and accounts team for dispatches, billing, and payments, and maintaining accurate records of primary and secondary sales data.

You will also track and update distributor claims, schemes, and incentives, prepare sales performance reports, and assist MIS teams in data consolidation. Additionally, you will act as a point of contact between the sales team and internal departments for issue resolution, ensure timely communication of product availability, dispatch status, and order confirmations, and support the sales team in achieving monthly/quarterly targets through backend coordination.

You will also follow up on outstanding payments with distributors/customers in coordination with accounts and maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate will have a Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Commerce/Business Administration or a related field, with 2–5 years of experience in backend sales coordination, preferably in the FMCG sector.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of MS Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools, excellent communication and coordination skills, ability to multitask and work under pressure, and be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
