Supply Manager / Assistant Manager

Vendor & Fleet Owner Acquisition Identify and onboard new fleet owners, transporters, and vehicle providers. Generate new leads through field visits, referrals, and market intelligence. Build a reliable supply of vehicles (FTL) based on business needs. ♦Vehicle Sourcing Arrange spot market vehicles on a daily basis as per operational demand. Ensure the availability of vehicles at competitive rates in high-demand lanes. Negotiate freight rates and terms with vehicle owners or agents. ♦Vendor Relationship Management Build long-term relationships with key vendors and fleet owners. Act as the primary point of contact for vendor queries, payments, and grievances. Ensure vendor satisfaction and reduce attrition through timely support. ♦Market Development Expand vendor base in new geographies or routes. Understand local transport market trends and proactively tap into vehicle supply hubs. Map vehicle availability, seasonality, and pricing trends to support planning. ♦Coordination & Documentation Ensure all vendor documentation (RC, PAN, GST, insurance, etc.) is collected and verified. Coordinate with finance and operations for timely payment and vehicle deployment. Maintain a database of active vendors, their fleet strength, and performance. Required Qualifications: ♦Graduation in any field; preference for candidates with logistics or transport background. ♦MBA/PGDM (Supply Chain / Operations) is an added advantage.
