Billing Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Billing Engineer to manage the billing and financial aspects of our projects anywhere in India. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in construction billing and financial management, with a proven track record of managing project costs and ensuring accurate billing. Expertise in Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF) and Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) is essential. Immediate availability for joining is required.

The Billing Engineer will be responsible for generating and verifying project bills and invoices for accuracy and compliance, ensuring timely submission to clients and subcontractors. They will also track and monitor project costs and expenses to ensure they align with the approved budget, implementing cost control measures as needed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving billing issues.

The Billing Engineer will work closely with the project manager, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather accurate billing information and resolve any discrepancies. They will also maintain accurate and up-to-date billing documentation, including invoices, payment receipts, and financial records.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in construction billing and financial management. They will also have expertise in Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF) and Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), as well as knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
