Job description

The Paint Shop Production Engineer is a critical member of our production team, responsible for ensuring the high-quality surface finishing of automobile bodies and components. This role requires a strong understanding of production planning, process control, and equipment maintenance coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and optimizing paint shop operations to meet production targets, while maintaining a focus on quality improvement, cost reduction, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities include planning and monitoring daily paint shop production activities, ensuring smooth operation of pre-treatment, electro-deposition (ED), primer, basecoat, and clear coat processes, coordinating with Body Shop and Assembly departments for seamless workflow, and minimizing downtime and bottlenecks in painting lines.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including the Body Shop and Assembly departments, to ensure seamless workflow and minimize downtime and bottlenecks in painting lines.
