Job description
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge voice AI and RAG pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in natural language processing, deep learning, and software engineering.
As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying AI models and pipelines that enable voice-first interfaces and improve the overall user experience.
You will work closely with our cross-functional team to develop and optimize voice-first interfaces using high-performance STT and TTS systems. This includes integrating STT and TTS systems with a focus on minimizing 'Time to First Token.'
You will also experiment with and host SLMs like Phi-3.5 or Mistral-7B locally using Ollama, vLLM, or TGI to reduce dependency on expensive APIs and ensure data privacy.
Additionally, you will implement token-optimization strategies including semantic caching, prompt compression, and model routing to improve the efficiency of our AI models.
Finally, you will setup automated evaluation frameworks to track hallucinations and monitor production performance using tools like Ragas/DeepEval.
