Warehouse Supervisor

Job description

The Warehouse Supervisor is a critical role responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse and transport functions. This includes verifying stock accuracy, managing storage space, and overseeing daily warehouse and transport operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and complete delivery of goods to customers, while maintaining delivery costs within budgeted targets. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating with other departments, and driving continuous improvement and service quality.

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for operating the warehouse management system (WMS) to support daily activities, including stock allocation, picking list preparation, replenishment planning, and issuing loading documents. They will also be responsible for maintaining and regularly updating master data files in the WMS to ensure data accuracy and process consistency.

The Warehouse Supervisor will collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage space and improve warehouse layout for operational efficiency. They will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling all stock in/out transactions to ensure proper documentation and traceability.

The Warehouse Supervisor will reconcile physical stock with WMS records and accounting systems to maintain inventory accuracy. They will also be responsible for managing stock levels based on agreed minimum and maximum thresholds with the sales team, preventing overstock and stockouts.

The Warehouse Supervisor will generate regular inventory reports and provide customized reports upon request from management or the warehouse supervisor. They will also be responsible for delivering accurate and up-to-date inventory data, supported by preliminary analysis, to assist in decision-making.

The Warehouse Supervisor will recommend products to be imported from Thailand based on stock movement and coordinate with the import team to prioritize incoming containers. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a database to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual staff and overall departmental performance.

The Warehouse Supervisor will liaise with CPF IT and PCG Logistics Thailand to resolve system-related and inventory discrepancies. They will also be responsible for managing daily deliveries by supervising 3PL partners and truck drivers, and coordinating with sales and customer service teams to promptly address delivery issues.

The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure timely and complete deliveries to customers (On-Time/In-Full), while maintaining delivery costs within budgeted targets. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a database to track delivery-related KPIs, including driver/3PL performance, customer satisfaction, and delivery cost.

The Warehouse Supervisor will maintain and update customer delivery mappings and recommend optimal delivery routes to improve efficiency. They will also be responsible for preparing daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to evaluate driver/3PL efficiency and overall delivery service quality.

The Warehouse Supervisor will collect, verify, and submit proof of delivery and delivery-related expenses to the accounting department for timely processing and payment.
