Sales Manager

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Government vertical business for Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Products across Mumbai and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in LV switchgear products and a proven track record in Government project sales.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and building strong relationships with key government bodies, consultants, contractors, and EPC players. You will also be expected to develop and expand dealer and channel partner networks, generate demand through product presentations, seminars, and plant demonstrations, and participate in tenders to ensure smooth execution and supplies.

You will handle Government customers including PWD, CPWD, CIDCO, BMC, MHADA, MMRDA, Railways, Defence, Airports, Ports and other agencies. You will build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, EPC players and decision-makers, track competitor activities and develop competitive strategies, and negotiate effectively to ensure business conversion and increase market share.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of LV switchgear products, proven experience in Government project sales, good negotiation and business acumen, ability to handle tenders and specification approvals, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and be self-motivated, result-oriented and a team player.
