Job description

KRA 1: Accounting & Financial Operations Objective: Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant accounting operations. Key Responsibilities:  Maintain accurate bank entries and perform regular bank reconciliations in Tally.  Process vendor payments post-management approval while ensuring adherence to approved payment schedules.  Prepare, verify, and review monthly stock statements ensuring accuracy and completeness.  Prepare, verify, and review Price Variation (PV) workings.  Prepare, review, and monitor Bank Guarantee (BG) workings and utilization. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):  Accuracy of accounting records  Timely completion of reconciliations and payments  Zero material discrepancies in stock and PV statements KRA 2: Statutory Compliance & Taxation Objective: Ensure full compliance with statutory and taxation requirements. Key Responsibilities:  Perform monthly GST reconciliation between Books, GSTR-1, and GSTR-3B and resolve discrepancies.  Coordinate with Chartered Accountant for timely filing of GST returns and compliance-related matters.  Perform 26AS reconciliation and ensure alignment with books of accounts.  Maintain TDS records, verify TDS entries in Tally, and support timely filing and payment.  Manage Professional Tax records, verify calculations, and ensure timely payment.  Assist in statutory, internal, tax, and stock audits by providing accurate data and necessary clarifications. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):  Timely filing of statutory returns  Minimal audit observations  Compliance with tax laws and regulations KRA 3: Banking & Financial Instruments Objective: Ensure effective management of banking instruments and coordination with banks. Key Responsibilities:  Review Letters of Credit (LC) and submit required documentation to banks.  Maintain LC records and follow up with banks for timely processing.  Coordinate with banks for issuance, renewal, amendment, and closure of Bank Guarantees.  Liaise with banks for routine banking operations and documentation requirements.  Timely issuance and renewal of LCs and BGs  Accurate maintenance of banking records  Smooth coordination with banking partners KRA 4: Reporting & MIS Objective: Provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial reports to management. Key Responsibilities:  Prepare and submit weekly debtors’ outstanding reports to management.  Monitor receivables and coordinate with internal teams for timely collections.  Assist in preparation of MIS reports including ageing analysis and stock analysis. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):  Timeliness and accuracy of MIS reports  Improvement in receivable cycles  Quality of financial insights shared with management
