Job description

An Auto/E-Rickshaw Driver safely transports passengers or goods within urban areas, operating a 3-wheeler while adhering to traffic laws. Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, route planning, fare collection, and providing good customer service. The role requires a valid commercial license, physical stamina, and basic technical knowledge of the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

 Driving & Safety: Safely operate the vehicle on scheduled or requested routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations.

 Passenger Service: Pick up and drop off passengers, assisting with loading/unloading luggage.

 Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks (battery/charge levels for e-rickshaws, fuel/oil for autos), ensure cleanliness, and perform minor repairs.

 Fare Management: Collect fares via cash or digital apps, provide change, and handle billing.

 Navigation: Use knowledge of local areas to find efficient routes and avoid traffic congestion. Required Skills and Qualifications

 License: A valid Commercial Driving License is essential.

 Experience: Previous driving experience is often preferred, but not always required for entrylevel positions.

 Knowledge: Basic understanding of 3-wheeler mechanics and troubleshooting.

 Physical Stamina: Ability to sit for long hours and operate in varying weather conditions.

 Communication: Polite communication skills for customer interaction. Working Conditions

 Environment: High-stress, busy traffic environments.
