Position - Junior Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Engineer / Senior Technician – Electrical with 3–5 years of experience in plant maintenance,

particularly in automatic assembly lines, robotics, and industrial automation systems. The candidate will be responsible for

maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of plant equipment, production assembly lines to ensure

reliable production operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical and automation equipment in the plant.

* Troubleshoot issues in automatic assembly lines and robotic systems.

* Maintain and diagnose faults in PLC and control systems.

* Support maintenance of robotic pick-and-place systems and dispensing machines.

* Maintain resistance welding systems used in automated manufacturing lines.

* Work with industrial automation components such as sensors, vision systems, and cameras.

* Assist in installation, commissioning, and modification of automation equipment.

* Maintain electrical panels, control circuits, and field instruments.

* Ensure minimal production downtime by quick fault diagnosis and corrective actions.

* Follow plant safety standards and maintenance procedures.

* Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, uptime, and conduct Why-Why / root cause

analysis.

* Support TPM activities, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives from a maintenance perspective.

* Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment.

* Manage spare parts, tools, and consumables related to furnace maintenance.

* Work effectively under high production pressure to minimize downtime.

* Coordinate with production teams and lead or support maintenance technicians as required.

* Maintain maintenance records and reports using MS Office and SAP.

Technical Skills Required

PLC & Control Systems

* Knowledge of PLC and control systems including:

o ABB

o B&R Automation

o Siemens

o Fanuc

o Mitsubishi Electric

* Basic understanding of DCS systems
