Job description

The Payroll & Compliance Executive will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and statutory compliance for the manufacturing and operations workforce. The role requires strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll systems, and high accuracy in handling employee compensation and statutory filings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing monthly payroll, managing statutory compliance, preparing payroll reports, and coordinating with finance for payroll accounting and statutory payments. The role also involves handling employee queries, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with Indian labor regulations and internal policies.

The Payroll & Compliance Executive will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, and will be responsible for maintaining payroll records and documentation. The role requires strong communication and numerical accuracy skills, as well as the ability to manage strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance, and will be familiar with Indian labor laws and payroll systems. The candidate should have strong working knowledge of HRIS and payroll software, and advanced MS Excel skills.

The Payroll & Compliance Executive will be responsible for generating MIS reports and supporting management with payroll analytics. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
