Quality Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality standards
2. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions
3. Inspect incoming raw materials and supplier parts to ensure compliance with specifications
4. Support internal and external/customer audits and ensure audit readiness
5. Prepare, maintain, and update quality documentation and records
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen to enhance process efficiency
7. Monitor PPM levels and analyze rejection trends to reduce defects
8. Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution with corrective actions
9. Ensure compliance with quality standards such as IATF

Key Skills Required

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
2. Knowledge of quality tools and techniques (7 QC tools, RCA, etc.)
3. Understanding of automotive quality standards (IATF preferred)
4. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office)

Candidate Profile

1. Experience in quality function within automobile/manufacturing industry preferred
2. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
3. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and handle audits

Note: Candidates with relevant experience in automotive quality processes and standards will be preferred.
