Production Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
2. Monitor and control product quality to meet required standards and specifications
3. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
4. Ensure regular maintenance of press machines, tools, and equipment for smooth operations
5. Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment on the shop floor
6. Lead and manage a team of production workers, providing guidance and training
7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and resolve operational issues

Key Skills Required

1. Strong knowledge of long member manufacturing processes
2. Experience in quality control and production management
3. Proficiency in MS Excel
4. Ability to handle shifts independently

Candidate Profile

1. Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry preferred (e.g., Ashok Leyland, Metalsa, Simplex)
2. Strong leadership and team management skills
3. Problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
