The Sales Associate is responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth for the Yulu platform through on-ground sales activities, strategic partnerships, and relationship management.
This role involves lead generation, onboarding new customers, collaborating with local partners, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention while meeting defined sales targets.
The Sales Associate will work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and onboarding targets.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and convincing skills, a basic understanding of sales techniques and customer handling, and the ability to work in a target-driven field environment.
They will also be self-motivated with a proactive approach to lead generation and have good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with local areas and market dynamics is an advantage.
The Sales Associate will be responsible for implementing standard operating procedures for seamless onboarding of new customers, educating customers on Yulu products, usage process, pricing, and safety guidelines, and ensuring timely activation and first ride completion for newly acquired customers.
They will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to improve retention and repeat usage, addressing customer queries and coordinating with internal teams for issue resolution, and collecting customer feedback and sharing insights for service improvement.
The Sales Associate will work in a field-based role involving daily travel within assigned clusters, requires walking, standing, and outdoor customer interactions, and may involve weekend work based on business requirements.
The Sales Associate will be responsible for monitoring local market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and providing actionable insights to the Sales Manager for strategy optimization.
They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions, and ensuring consistent field productivity and reporting.
