Job Description: Senior Manager – Business Development Company: Geo Vista Technology Location: Hyderabad Experience: 10+ Years Industry: GIS / IT / e-Governance Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Geo Vista Technology is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – Business Development to drive growth in the Government and Semi-Government sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to GIS, IT, and e-Governance projects, with a proven ability to lead end-to-end business development and tendering processes. Key Responsibilities  Lead and expand business development initiatives across GIS, IT, and e-Governance sectors.  Develop and execute sector-specific business strategies and outreach plans.  Manage the complete proposal lifecycle, including RFP analysis, bid strategy, documentation, and submission for government tenders.  Build, mentor, and lead Pre-Sales, Bidding, and Customer Success teams.  Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.  Establish and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, PSUs, and key stakeholders.  Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure proposal accuracy and successful project execution.  Track market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes to align business strategies. Preferred Candidate Profile  Around 10+ years of experience in Business Development or Marketing in Government / SemiGovernment sectors.  Prior experience in GeoSpatial / GIS organizations will be highly preferred.  Strong understanding of e-Governance frameworks and IT solution offerings.  Proven track record in tender bidding, project acquisition, and revenue generation. Skills & Competencies  Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills  Strong leadership and team management abilities  Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously  Strategic thinking with a result-oriented mindset  Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
