Mechanical Design & Stress Analysis: Perform mechanical design and stress analysis for pressure vessels, columns, and heat exchangers, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. Standards & Codes Compliance: Ensure designs and engineering processes are in line with ASME Sec VIII Div 1 & 2, TEMA, and API 650 codes and standards. Design Optimization & Stress Analysis: Apply your deep knowledge of design optimization, material selection, and stress analysis to enhance the performance and safety of static equipment. Design & Fabrication of Static Equipment: Design static equipment, including storage tanks, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers, based on industry-standard specifications (ASME, API, TEMA). Review & Approval of Drawings: Review and approve fabrication drawings to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to codes and safety standards. Documentation & Client Approvals: Prepare detailed design documentation and provide technical support for client approvals. Mechanical Calculations & Design for Large Equipment: Execute mechanical calculations for large-scale storage tanks and pressure vessels to ensure structural integrity and performance. Skills & Qualifications: Educational Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in the mechanical design and analysis of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks. Technical Skills: o Proficient in design and stress analysis tools and techniques. o In-depth knowledge of ASME Sec VIII Div 1 & 2, TEMA, and API 650 codes. o Expertise in mechanical calculations for large static equipment. Analytical Skills: Ability to optimize design and perform detailed stress analysis for complex mechanical systems. Fabrication & Design Approval: Experience in reviewing fabrication drawings and ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and stress analysis software.
