The Kitchen Helper supports all daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth functioning and quality output. Position Overview The Kitchen Helper will assist cooks and kitchen staff in food preparation, cleaning, storage, and maintaining hygiene standards. The role requires discipline, speed, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Key Responsibilities - Assist in basic food preparation such as cutting, chopping, washing vegetables, etc. - Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, utensils, and equipment. - Support cooks in preparing ingredients and maintaining pantry items. - Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked items. - Handle dishwashing and disposal of waste as per hygiene standards. - Follow safety and hygiene protocols at all times. - Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and stocks. - Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Skills & Requirements - Minimum qualification: No formal education required; 10th pass preferred. - Prior experience as Kitchen Helper or in a similar role (preferred). - Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety. - Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision. - Physically fit and able to handle fast-paced work. - Good coordination and teamwork skills.
