IT Lead – ERP & Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Lead with extensive expertise in ERP systems NetSuite (Oracle) / SAP to oversee IT operations for our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end IT operations, drive ERP implementation and process optimization, and provide strategic insights across ERP modules including Finance, Material Management, Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, Quality, and Plant Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day IT operations, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems and infrastructure.
2. Oversee the complete system life cycle, including design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of ERP solutions.
3. Provide in-depth knowledge and support across ERP modules:
4. Finance (FI/CO): Financial accounting, cost control, reporting, and integration.
5. Material Management (MM): Procurement, inventory management, and vendor management.
6. Sales & Distribution (SD): Order processing, billing, pricing, and customer management.
7. Production Planning (PP): Production scheduling, planning, and execution.
8. Plant Maintenance (PM): Asset management, preventive maintenance, and equipment monitoring.
9. Quality Management (QM): Compliance, quality assurance, and reporting.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues efficiently to minimize business impact.
11. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, business users, and ERP implementation partners to achieve project objectives.
12. Monitor system performance, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement optimization strategies.
13. Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and accountability.
14. Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 12+ years of IT experience with hands-on ERP expertise in NetSuite (Oracle) or SAP.
2. Strong understanding of ERP modules: Finance, Material Management, Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, and Quality Management.
3. Proven experience in system life cycle management, ERP implementation, project management, and IT operations within a manufacturing environment.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills for application and infrastructure troubleshooting.
5. Strong coordination and communication skills with stakeholders and implementation partners.
6. Leadership experience with the ability to manage, guide, and mentor technical teams effectively.
7. Knowledge of IT security, compliance, and best practices.
8. Educational Qualification: B.Tech / BCA / MCA / IT Certifications or equivalent.

Preferred:

1. Experience in ERP implementations and process optimizations for manufacturing operations.
2. Relevant certifications in ERP, ITIL, or project management.
