Job Title: Payroll & Compliance Executive

About the Role (Overview)

The Payroll & Compliance Executive will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and

statutory compliance for the manufacturing and operations workforce. The role requires strong

knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll systems, and high accuracy in handling employee

compensation and statutory filings.

How You Will Add Value (Core responsibilities)

 Process monthly payroll for manufacturing and operations employees, ensuring

accuracy and timeliness

 Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and other applicable labor

laws

 Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, deductions, reimbursements, and full & final

settlements

 Coordinate with finance for payroll accounting and statutory payments

 Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, and compliance

 Maintain payroll records, documentation, and audit readiness

 Ensure compliance with Indian labor regulations and internal policies

 Generate MIS reports and support management with payroll analytics

What You Bring to The Team (Experience & Education)

 2–4 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance

 Experience handling payroll for manufacturing, shop-floor, or operations workforce

preferred

 Strong working knowledge of PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and Indian payroll regulations

 Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll software

 Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data reconciliation)

 High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy

 Ability to manage strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

 Strong coordination and communication skills

 Master’s Degree in Human Resources or MBA in HR
