Service Technician

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vehicles.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Carry out troubleshooting and repair of vehicle components including electrical systems, motors, and mechanical assemblies.

• Ensure timely completion of service jobs while maintaining quality standards.

• Follow company safety procedures and service protocols.

• Maintain service records and update job cards accurately.

• Coordinate with service advisors and workshop supervisors to ensure smooth service operations.

• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 1–3 years in automobile service and maintenance.

• Preferred Experience: Electric Vehicle (EV) service experience.

• Alternative Experience: Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicle service.

• Education: ITI or Diploma in Automobile Engineering or relevant technical field.

Required Skills

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.
