Position - Sales Manager.

Role-

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales target of defined region in agri inputs. They will be responsible for ensuring that the area under reporting meets sales targets and provides excellent customer service. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring that the partners are well-stocked with high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the area growth and profitability including sales, inventory management, and customer service

  • Build Channel network of non-competing, trustworthy partners.

  • Implement and execute direct / reseller driven strategy to drive growth.

  • Meet sales targets and achieve partner/channel revenue goals

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction

  • Manage inventory levels and ensure that the partners/area is well-stocked with high-quality products

  • Work with warehouse management to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to product quality or availability

  • Train and manage team, including setting work schedules and providing ongoing training and support

  • Monitor and analyze sales data and adjust area operations as needed to maximize sales and profitability

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers and agricultural channel partners to promote the brand and increase customer loyalty

  • Ensure that the partners and channel created is well organised.

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales, and expenses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture and MBA preffered.

  • Minimum of 3 to 15 years of experience with ground team and retail management preferably in an agri input company / agri input e-commerce.

  • Strong knowledge of agri input products and the agriculture industry

  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales targets and achieve revenue goals

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to analyze sales data and adjust store operations to maximize profitability

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
